Location: Leticia, Colombia / Caballococha & Cushillococha, Peru
Medical personnel, nurses, doctors, surgeons, and/or anyone wanting to serve the holistic and spiritual needs of the people in the Amazon jungle, join 414 Missions in the Spring of 2027 as we travel to remote river villages along the Amazon River in Peru. There is much need for medical care in the Frontier region of the Amazon Jungle. We also have open doors to helping the local medical staff learn general and state of the art practices that can enhance their knowledge in caring for their patients.
Your team will fly through Bogota, Colombia, into the city of Leticia, which is the border town of Colombia, Peru, and Brazil. From there we will boat up the Amazon River to the jungle village of Cushillococha, Peru which is where we will be staying for the bulk of the trip.
We will spend close to a week serving the local communities, and training medical and surgical staff of the Amazon Jungle hospital specifically in the areas of:
- General Medical
- Hospital Staff Training
- General Medical and Surgical Training
- Reading Glasses
- Dental (if there are dental team members)
